Oberoi group of hotels is one of the leading chains of Luxury hotels in India and staying at the Oberoi
Rajvilas was our first experience with them. We absolutely loved our stay here and in this blog we are capturing our wonderful moments in this hotel. Gosh we cannot mention how stoked we were with the
most amazing hospitality we ever had!
We arrived by an early morning flight and they sent us a car for the airport pick up. We arrived at 8:30 am and guess what our room was ready. In fact, they kept 2 rooms ready for us- the one we booked and an upgraded room as well for us to see and choose which one we liked more to stay.
This hotel is spread over 32 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, with traditional architecture,
flaming mashaal torches, reflection pools and is home to many birds including peacocks! There are 2
restaurants at the property however due to COVID only one was operational when we went. We
stayed in both the Premier room as well as the Luxury tent. They also have private pool rooms for
couples looking for a special time or for families wanting to enjoy together!
Their service and hospitality are absolutely commendable. When we checked into our room, they
had kept customized photo chocolates along with an anniversary cake as we were celebrating our 2 nd
Anniversary early this trip! We were just so impressed with this gesture as it would be the first time
any hotel would have done something like this for us. They also did a floral bubble bath décor in our
room’s bathtub.
We enjoyed every bit of our stay and not forget the delicious food! The famous Kadhi Kachori in
breakfast and the Rajasthani Thali for dinner with cultural dance and singing show was amazing! We
also wanted to experience the Luxury tent so we moved into it for the next night. It has a very
spacious outdoor with a small garden on each side to enjoy some tea. While there is more privacy in
the tents, you can still have peacocks come in as visitors ��
The staff was so warm and welcoming that we felt very much at home and comfortable. The rooms
were very well cleaned and sanitized each day and they will also come in for evening turndown
service if you want. They would decorate the bathtub so beautifully that after exploring the city the
whole day and being tired, you would just want to relax in! Also, a special mention to Tanu who was
one of the persons looking after our room, she would design beautiful fresh flower tiara for me to
match with my outfits and make me feel like a princess!
Also, an amazing part of their hospitality, Arushi, from the front desk designed a 3 day itinerary for
us while in the city in terms of everything we must see and where to eat and shop. She was
courteous enough to make reservations for us in the cafes and would keep a check on us if we were
doing okay even while we were not in the property!
This stay was simply perfect and everything we could have asked for! Though this hotel is a bit
outside the city, we totally recommend it if you are looking for an experience and a great service.
We would not think twice to visit this property again.
